Animals & Critters

At Town & Country Summer Day Camp, we have a wide array of furry friends. Our chickens, bunnies, goats, pig, and pony are all loved and treated as pets. Every morning they eagerly wait at their gates to greet the campers. Growing up surrounded by children, our animals love the attention they receive from the campers. They love to be hand fed and picked-up! We feel the interaction between the animals and our campers is an unforgettable experience.

In addition to daily interactions with the animals, we have an animal badge program. This program teaches our campers how to properly care for our animals, be responsible pet guardians, and help make our community a safer place for all our animals.

Our facilities include a corral for our pony and goats, a chicken coop, a bunny pin, and a pig pin. Each animal space is spacious, allowing the animals to stretch their wings or legs and move about freely and comfortably. Each space is supervised during designated times to ensure the physical, social, and emotional well-being of our animals. Our animals are also allowed to roam free throughout our camp, along with the campers.

Our chickens love to roam. This helps them lay eggs every day. Campers can collect the fresh eggs and take them home at the end of the day. Our farm fresh eggs are washed, unpasteurized raw eggs that will keep up to three weeks in your refrigerator!

We start the summer with baby bunnies and a piglet. Our campers are able to watch them grow over the summer. Our campers love to play with the pig and learn how social and intelligent pigs can be. Our pony and goats love to visit and play with our little piglet.
